Mainstream Fisheries have provided various services for exhibitions, shows and game fairs. These have included simulated streams planted with indigenous aquatic plants and netted off areas in a lake which has been heavily stocked with fish for angling competitions. Many of you may have seen the large Action Aquarium which is we stocked and looked after at the shows list below:

The Action Aquarium is 10 metres long, 1.2 metres wide and 1.5 metres high. It weighs approximately 5 tons empty and 23 tons full. The tank holds approximately 4000 gallons of water. There is approximately 2 tons of gravel and stones to provide a bed for the tank. Approximately 1/2 ton of marine salt is used in the tank and another 1/2 ton of salt is used in the storage and transportation of the marine fish.
